Mary Virginia Harper, 86, Crawfordsville died 10:20 p.m. Tuesday in St. Clare Medical Center. Mrs. Harper was head dietitian at Culver Hospital for 15 years. She also worked for Elston Bank and as a reception for Dr. Schroeder. She was a Waynetown United Methodist Church member and a life member of American Legion Auxiliary. She was a Waynetown HS graduate. She was born May 22, 1918 at Fountain County to George Nelson and Lucille Johnson Sanders. She married John c. harper. They were married for more than 50 years. He died Dec 8, 1994. A sister, Frances Allen, Crawfordsville survives. Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave with Rev. Velma Keesling officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday in the funeral home. - kbz
